Belarusians have carried out a hiking tour on the historic High Atlas ridge of mountains.

The Belarusian national flag is waving on the highest peaks of the High Atlas mountains, which are the highest not only in Morocco but also in the whole of North Africa (Maghreb), Radio Racyja reports.

The chain of the High Atlas stretches for almost 750 kilometers. The most picturesque places are L'Quinkrim, as well as L'Aksoual. There are not so many tourists going up the mountain. We went up to the first mountain, which our leader Siarhei calls a two-headed mountain: shoulder and head as accurately translated Ras n'Ouanoukrim (4083) and Timesguida n'Ouanoukrim (4089 m). This type of active tourism predominates other types of tourism emotionally. The photos of the Berber men engaged in preparation of tea, transportation on mules, and women, even teenage girls - harvesting grass for cattle and herbs from the mountains. Children are running after a few mountain tourists who pass through these isolated oases:

A lot of water flows down from the high mountains, in the late spring, early summer, when the snow melt contribute to the development of agriculture. The Berbers are farmers, they continue to build irrigation by handiwork, just like a century ago. The channel of still water goes along a mountain path. Goats, sheep are the most common at the height of 2000-3000 meters above the sea level.

Nearly the whole tour was held in the Toubkal National Park. The first night stay was held at one of the terraces near the mountain Ovryka River. Our squad settled down in three tents. It rained in the evening and at night. The first cooking duty was not easy, since the gas burner started with difficulty. We had cereal and tea for dinner and breakfast.

The next day's march was filled with crossing shallows of the rivers — the icy mountain water sometimes carried us away with its pressure. We had to be very careful.

In the High Atlas, where the height has not yet reached 4 thousand meters, you can still find untouched nature someplace. Below - trees and shrubs: cedar and juniper.
