The Russian woman has been notified that she is suspected of violating the laws and customs of war.

The Office of the Prosecutor General and the Security Service of Ukraine filed an indictment against a Russian citizen who called on her occupying husband to rape Ukrainian women. The Russian woman has been notified that she is suspected of violating the laws and customs of war, also she has been put on the international wanted list.

This is reported by the Schemes project with a reference to the Prosecutor General Office. Journalists emphasize that this person is Olga Bykovskaya, whose husband Roman Bykovsky fought against Ukraine as part of the Russian Armed Forces, and whose conversation was intercepted by the Ukrainian special services.

Law enforcers established that a citizen of the Russian Federation, on the basis of personal hostility to Ukrainian society and neglect of Ukrainian women, called on her husband, a serviceman of the occupying army of Russia, whose units were located on the territory of the Kherson region, to rape Ukrainian women under temporary occupation.

In the actions of the Russian woman, whose name was not indicated by the law enforcement agency, there is a violation of Part 2 of Article 27 of the Convention for the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War and the Geneva Conventions as they relate to the protection of victims of international armed conflicts.

Now the citizen of the Russian Federation has been notified about a suspicion of violating the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), which provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 12 years. In addition, she was put on the state, interstate and international wanted list, and a measure of restraint in the form of detention was chosen in absentia, which can be applied after her arrest.

According to Schemes’ sources among law enforcement officers, this person is Russian woman Olga Bykovskaya. Earlier, the project, together with the Russian edition of Radio Liberty, identified the Bykovsky spouses, a fragment of whose conversation was intercepted by the Security Service of Ukraine.

In it, the Russian serviceman spoke with his wife, who, laughing, encouraged her husband to “rape Ukrainian women”. They turned out to be 27-year-old paratrooper Roman Bykovsky, who took part in Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and his wife, Olga Bykovskaya. The couple is originally from the Oryol region of the Russian Federation, but several years ago they moved to the occupied Ukrainian Crimea. After completing military service, the invader went to serve in Putin's army on a contract basis.

In a conversation with journalists, Roman Bykovsky said that the voice on the SSU recording was not his. However, his voice is the same as on the “tapes” of the law enforcement officers. The voice of Olga Bykovskaya also completely coincides with that of the woman on the audio recording published by the Ukrainian special service. She stated that her husband was in Sevastopol, specifying that he was “treated in the hospital after being wounded”. Where exactly, she claimed she did not know.

After that, Bykovskaya interrupted the conversation with reporters and dropped further calls. Neither the occupier Bykovsky nor his wife responded to messages on social media. In addition, the Russian woman even deleted her VKontakte page.
