In the war in Ukraine, the 144th Guards Motorized Rifle Division has already lost two regiments — the 488th Motorized Rifle Regiment and the 59th Tank Regiment. And the invaders from the 254th motorized rifle regiment were given ammunition unsuitable for firing.

This is discussed in the report of the chief of artillery, Lieutenant Colonel Grachev, to his commander. The letter was published in the Spy's Dossier Telegram channel.

So, Grachev writes that his unit received ammunition for use on the front line. In total, they were given 80 pieces.

At the same time, 30% of the shell cases have dents; 70% of fuses have no caps, the remaining 30% have jammed caps, all fuses are rusty; 20% of shells are rusty; caps were broken off in 60% of the shells, that is, it is impossible to install fuses on them.
