AFU Advancing Near Bakhmut: Footage Of Sheikh Mansour Battalion's Close Combat

The attack was carried out jointly by fighters of the Chechen battalion and other AFU units.
A video with footage of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Bakhmut has been published online. The event was captured on a bib camera of a soldier of the Chechen Sheikh Mansur Battalion.
The information was published on the battalion's official Telegram channel.
It should be noted that the footage does not show extraordinary and impressive strikes against the positions of the Russian army. At the same time, it becomes clear how exactly the everyday advance of the defence forces takes place during the attack.
At the beginning of the video it becomes clear that the event is unfolding in a street with private development.
The event takes place in January 2023, the caption in the footage indicates. As there were few cold days, the fighters are kneading the swamp with their feet.
There are four brothers-in-arms in front of the fighter with the camera.
The soldiers advance within the confines of the settlement until they find themselves in a field.
It is outside the private development that gunfire becomes clearly heard: machine-gun bursts, the rumble of artillery. At one point the battalion soldiers noticeably speed up - rushing, having heard the nearby gunfire.
At a certain point, two armoured vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces drive past the military. They head in the opposite direction to the movement of the combatants.
The last shots of the video show a fighter with a camera firing in the direction of Russian army positions. At this point the footage cuts off.
The message that contains a link to the video states that the events took place during an attack near Bakhmut in early January 2023. The attack took place in conjunction with the AFU and the Caucasus Muslim Corps. The exact date of the event is given on one of the thematic public pages - January 6.
We note that the previous video published by the battalion was made in Opytne - the southern suburb of Bakhmut, Donetsk region. It can be assumed that the events of this recording took place not far away.
