Latvian border guards published a video of the incident on the border with Belarus. It happened on Sunday, October 1.

According to the Latvian Border Service, border guards received several alarm signals from technical means. At the scene, they noticed several groups of potential violators.

“The border guards encountered aggression from persons from the Belarusian side — potential border violators, noticing the presence of the border guards, began to shout loudly, in addition, one of them several times threw stones picked up from the ground towards the border guards,” the report says.

In the published video, you can see a man with a hidden face picking up two stones from the bank of a stream and then throwing them, with some of the “shells” flying towards the person filming.
