Humenyuk revealed the details.
After the attack on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in temporarily occupied Sevastopol, as a result of which senior enemy officers were eliminated, there has been a lull in the naval activity of the invaders.
This was stated by the speaker of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine Natalia Humenyuk, RBC-Ukraine.
reports.
According to her, “a certain confusion” is obvious among the leadership of the Russian Black Sea Fleet after the destruction of the headquarters of the enemy fleet.
“Because the use of launch vehicles was unsystematic and senseless. They went out, came in, maneuvered along incomprehensible routes with unreasonable fuel consumption, without achieving their goals,” noted Humenyuk.
The representative of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine explained that the enemy was increasing the presence of ships, adjusting, replacing each other, thereby “demonstrating readiness.”
“But they were still used to convince that control exists, that leadership is in place and the fleet can be combat-ready,” Humenyuk said.
Thus, she stated, there is a lull in the naval activities of the Russian occupiers.
“Ships are now hiding more, looking for safe places to base and stay in the Black Sea. And we are not observing the holding of exercises, which are mandatory to maintain the combat capability of the fleet,” the spokeswoman for the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine emphasized.
It is important to note that on September 22, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a missile attack on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet in temporarily occupied Sevastopol.
According to the Special Operations Forces, 34 officers were killed then, including the commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Another 105 occupiers were wounded.
