CNN: Ukrainian Forces Executed Complex Offensive Operation That Prepared For More Than Month

The Ukrainian military struck the invaders near Bakhmut.

The Ukrainian forces launched a coordinated offensive near the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut, using the drone unit nicknamed “Code 9.2” during their night operations.

Pilots of Ukrainian-made Vampire drones are able to operate effectively at night using thermal imagers.

This was reported by journalists from the American television channel CNN, who personally visited the front line and took positions with the Ukrainian military.

The drones can carry up to 33 kg of payload and have already been used to strike Russian armoured vehicles and defences.

Drone videos show successful attacks, including the destruction of a Russian T-90 tank.

American journalists note that this operation was prepared by the headquarters for more than a month - for several weeks.

During the attack, the Armed Forces of Ukraine used combined strike tactics, involving cannon and rocket artillery in the operation.

The frame also captured one of the heavy drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which dropped bombs on the heads of the Russian soldiers.
