The Russian military received 24 combat jets last year.

Russia has produced 28 new combat and military aircraft for its army during the whole of 2023, which is much less than the planned figure for last year. This was stated by Polish analysts from Defence24.

According to them, for every new announced transfer of aircraft for the Russian Air Force, there were no more than two planes in each of the batches. Thus, last year the Russian military received 24 combat jets and four combat trainers.

In total, we are talking about:

six Su-34M planes;

ten Su-35S planes;

four Su-57s;

four Su-30SMs;

four Yak-130 combat trainers.

Defence24 analysts note that it is even possible to observe fluctuations in the rate of production of certain aircraft for the Russian Air Force in 2023.

Since if we recall the results for 2022, there were the following figures on completed deliveries:

ten Su-34M planes;

seven Su-35S;

six Su-57s;

four Su-30SMs;

two Yak-130 combat trainers.

In total - 27 combat planes and two combat trainers.

Last year, the Russian military-industrial complex reduced production rates for the Su-34M and the Su-57, and this can be explained by the impact of the sanctions regime from the West.
