Attack Lasts 30 Minutes: Unexpected Details Of Destroying 'Caesar Kunikov' Big Landing Ship Revealed

On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, the Ukrainian military made an attack on the "Caesar Kunikov" large landing ship. It is noted that it lasted about thirty minutes.
The "Spy's Dossier" Telegram channel released some details of the attack on Thursday, February 15. It is noted that the attack was carried out with the use of attack surface drones MAGURA V5, developed in Ukraine.
The vessel is assigned to the military unit #10790 in Sevastopol and belongs to the 30th division of surface ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation.
It is noted that at about 06:05 am, a message was received in Sevastopol that the ship's crew was observing the approach of an unknown object. At 06:08 the first drone struck the left side. In total, the attack lasted about 30 minutes.
A total of five naval drones struck the ship. Four hit the entire port side from stern to bow. The fifth hit the starboard side in the engine room area. Obviously, it was this strike that became critical. A fire started, the ship lost power and tilted to starboard.
At about 07:00 the port of Sevastopol received an SOS signal and a request to evacuate the ship's crew, which was about five kilometres from the shore. Russian EMERCOM tugs and several boats were sent to the wreck site.
At about 07:35 the Caesar Kunikov sank.
According to Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, the Caesar Kunikov was carrying a cargo of ammunition from Novorossiysk to Sevastopol. Thanks to the efforts of Ukrainian scouts, the Russian big landing ship was destroyed by five MAGURA V5 marine drones.
According to the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate, the majority of the crew of the destroyed Caesar Kunikov was killed, and the ship sank and cannot be restored.
