Registration of transport from Belarus has been stopped.

On the Belarusian-Lithuanian border at the Medininkai border crossing, registration of border crossers to leave Belarus has been temporarily suspended, reports the State Border Committee of Belarus.

According to information from the Lithuanian side, problems with the software have been reported at the checkpoint since 3 a.m. on July 14. In this regard, the Lithuanians, for technical reasons, temporarily stopped the passage of passenger cars and trucks traveling from Belarus to Lithuania.

At the same time, transport in the direction of Belarus is processed and allowed through as normal.

The Civil Procedure Code promised to provide additional notification about the resumption of passage in both directions.

At the same time, the State Customs Committee added that from 9.00 the Lithuanian side resumed registration of passenger cars and buses, but was doing it extremely slowly: in 2.5 hours only three buses and five cars from Belarus were allowed through.

As for trucks, in 12 hours from nine in the evening to nine in the morning, only 40 trucks were registered, and from 9:00 the Lithuanians did not accept a single vehicle. About 500 trucks, cleared by Belarusian customs officers, are waiting to leave for Lithuania.
