Syrian Ambassador to Belarus Mohammad al-Umrani died in Minsk. This was reported by the Syrian Foreign Ministry on August 15.

As follows from the message of the Syrian Foreign Ministry, the diplomat died of a heart attack in Minsk in the morning on August 15.

Mohammad al-Umrani had been the Syrian ambassador to Belarus since 2020.
