New fares were introduced today.

In the Vitsebsk region, public transport fares will increase on April 12. According to the resolution of the Vitsebsk Regional Executive Committee, the cost of a ticket on city routes will increase by 10 kapeykas, and for suburban routes, the fare will increase by 1 kapeyka per kilometer.

It follows from the decision of the Vitsebsk region authorities that the fixed fare for city transportation of passengers and hand luggage by buses, trolleybuses and trams on regular and high-speed routes in regular service will be 90 kapeykas per trip. Previously, such a ticket cost 80 kapeykas. Travel on express routes will also increase by 10 kapeykas — up to one ruble. If a passenger buys a ticket from the driver, then another five kapeykas must be added to the cost.

The cost of travel cards has also increased. Depending on the type of transport and the city of the region, the following tariffs have been set since April 12:

monthly — from 34.42 to 64.44 rubles

decadal — from 12.06 to 22.57 rubles

daily — from 2.8 to 4.45 rubles

The cost of travel on public transport was previously raised in all regions of the country, with the exception of Homel.
