The UK is ready to support Germany in transferring Taurus long-range missiles to Ukraine. However, the final decision remains with Germany, where discussions on this issue are still ongoing. The Telegraph writes about this, citing sources in the government.

‘We continue to work with our partners, including Germany, to arm Ukraine as best as possible to protect its sovereign territory,’ said the interlocutor of the publication.

According to the journalists, this stance may also serve as an additional signal of support for newly elected Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who will take office in early May.
