Zelensky Dismisses Heads Of Sumy, Luhansk Regional Military Administrations

New heads were appointed.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed the previous and appointed new heads of Sumy and Lugansk regional military administrations. The corresponding decrees appeared on the website of the President's Office.

The head of state dismissed Volodymyr Artyukh from the post of the head of Sumy RMA and appointed Oleh Hryhorov in his place.

Artyukh headed the administration for two years from April 2023. Prior to his appointment in Sumy region, Hryhorov was the head of the Main Department of the National Police in Luhansk region from 2021. In 2024, Zelensky promoted him to the rank of police general of the third rank.

The president also dismissed Artem Lysohor from the post of the head of the Luhansk RMA and appointed Oleksiy Kharchenko instead.

Lysohor held the post for two years. Prior to his appointment as head of Luhansk region Kharchenko headed the city military administration of temporarily occupied Severodonetsk since 2024. In 2020-2023 the official was a deputy of the Zhytomyr city Council from the party ‘Servant of the People’, from 2021 to 2023 worked in the State Inspectorate of Architecture and Urban Planning of Ukraine.
