Ukrainian Armed Forces Receive Order Regarding Putin's ‘Ceasefire’

The largest number of Russian attacks are recorded on the eastern front.

Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces received an order to cease fire on enemy positions after the "Easter truce" declared by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

This was reported by the BBC, citing a senior officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to the source, his unit and other units received the corresponding order.

In addition, the Ukrainian military was ordered to record violations of the ceasefire by Russian troops using photo and video filming. If necessary, the units are allowed to open return fire. However, the source did not specify whether such cases had already been recorded in practice.

Meanwhile, Suspilne reports, citing Ukrainian military personnel from the Pokrovsk, Lyman and Kramatorsk directions, that the number of attacks by Russian troops in the Donetsk region decreased after 18:00. They described the situation as of 21:00.

Before this, Head of the Central Intelligence Agency of the National Security and Defense Council Andriy Kovalenko said that the occupiers continued to fire in all directions after Putin's "ceasefire" came into effect.

The majority of attacks are recorded in the East. In addition, just before the start of the "ceasefire", the enemy once again attacked Ukraine with attack drones.

The National Security and Defense Council called the "ceasefire" announced by Putin an information operation, with the help of which the Kremlin wants to show itself as a "peacemaker" to the Donald Trump administration.

Moscow is not interested in a real ceasefire, since it continues to reject the US proposal for a 30-day truce along the entire front line, which was made more than a month ago.
