At Hrodna Azot, fire alarms are triggered more and more often, compared to the first quarter of last year. The reason is the insufficient reliability of fire alarm sensors and personnel oversight. The plant plans to reduce the number of alarms. Employees will be rewarded differently.

However, compared to the first quarter of last year, there were no unscheduled shutdowns related to underutilization of capacities. The number of emergency situations has decreased by half. In those that did occur, there was no fault of the personnel.

A number of safety violations were found and eliminated in the first quarter of 2025.

“At the same time, high-quality documentation, production culture, and compliance with executive discipline remain problematic. Preventive work was carried out with the responsible personnel for each violation, shop floor specialists were informed of the insufficient level of control over the work of subordinate personnel, and disciplinary and material measures were taken against those who committed violations,” the company wrote.
