There are many times more cars waiting to leave Belarus.
The situation on the border with Poland has been difficult for the last few days.
The queue of cars, waiting to leave Belarus, is growing and has increased by more than a third over the day, writes Tochka.
On 22 April, there were about 900 cars at the checkpoint ‘Terespol’ (‘Brest’), but already in the morning of 23 April, the situation is close to collapse.
In less than a day, the number of vehicles exceeded well over a thousand. According to the latest data of the State Border Committee, 1,260 cars are waiting to leave Belarus.
A sharp increase in the queue of cars at the border with Poland was recorded after Easter. Before the holiday, only 170 cars wanted to leave the country, while their number has increased many times within a couple of days.
So far, the situation is controlled, but you will have to spend many hours in the queue. It should be noted that last year there was a similar situation. This is connected with the beginning of the holiday season, as well as the approach of the long May weekend.
