Zelensky Arrives In South Africa

The Ukrainian president has disclosed the purpose of the visit.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska have arrived on a visit to the Republic of South Africa.

This is reported by Zelensky's Telegram channel.

‘We are preparing for important meetings in South Africa with President Cyril Ramaphosa and representatives of political, social and student communities in Africa,’ wrote Zelensky.

During the visit, he said, the work will continue to ensure that G20 countries are involved in diplomatic efforts.

‘We count on South Africa's effective participation in the international coalition for returning thousands of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia. We will definitely strengthen our cultural and educational ties as well,’ he emphasised.
