Trump Says He Putting Lot Of Pressure On Russia

The US President noted that he would like to discuss the topic of sanctions against the Russian Federation in a week.

The United States is putting a lot of pressure on the Russian Federation to achieve peace in Ukraine. This was stated by US President Donald Trump during a joint briefing with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre in the Oval Office on 24 April, it was broadcast by Fox Business.

‘You have no idea how much pressure I'm putting on Russia. We are putting a lot of pressure on Russia,’ Trump emphasised.

He noted that he would like to discuss the topic of sanctions against Russia in a week.

Trump said that among the concessions, which Russia should make, is stopping the war and refusing to seize all of Ukraine.

The head of the White House once again emphasised that he wants the war to end soon. The next few days, he said, will be very important.

‘We have made significant progress. We'll see what happens,’ Trump said.

Also, the American president reminded that he did not like last night, during which the Russians massively attacked Ukraine, including Kyiv, with drones and missiles of different types.

‘I was not happy with it. We were actually having peace talks and here the missiles were fired,’ Trump said.
