It has become known which models and quantities are involved.
The Ministry of Defense of Belarus plans to purchase drones worth approximately $3.3 million this year. Relevant orders have appeared on the state procurement website. This information was reported by the Telegram channel on Belarusian aviation, "OtVinta."
The majority of the drones are of Chinese production, but one item lacks specific details:
187 FPV drones Caddx X10 (AI version) or equivalent;
190 FPV drones Caddx X10 (IR version) or equivalent;
20 sets with FPV drones;
81 tactical unmanned aerial complexes based on the DJI Mavic3 Thermal multicopter or equivalent;
83 tactical unmanned aerial complexes based on the Autel EVO MAX 4T multicopter or equivalent.
For example, the DJI Mavic3 Thermal and Autel EVO MAX 4T are intended for aerial reconnaissance. Additionally, the latter, besides a thermal imaging camera, is equipped with a laser rangefinder. Using AI recognition technology, it can automatically identify and capture various types of targets, such as heat sources, moving people, or vehicles.
In addition to Chinese-made UAVs, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus has been actively purchasing Russian UAVs "Supercam" of various modifications, as well as Belarusian UAVs "Berkut-3" in recent years.
