Psychological Deadline For Putin

Currently, the US is using a strategy of soft diplomacy towards Russia in the negotiations to end the war. But Moscow is damaging their reputation. This was stated by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak, ТСН reports.

According to him, after the “psychological deadline” of April 20, by which Russia must agree to a ceasefire, events will develop very quickly.

“Putin does not realize that he is dealing with a person with the most pronounced psycho-emotional activity. Trump can wait a certain time, but he wants quick results. He built the structure in such a way — we are the main ones, we are the mediators, we offer,” he said.

Podolyak noted that Ukraine quickly agreed to synchronize efforts for a comprehensive ceasefire, but Russia, on the contrary, is dragging out this time.

“Trump notices signs of this delay, and also sees openly genocidal strikes by the Russian Federation on Ukraine,” says the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

He also adds that in the modern world, the Kremlin's lies about striking “exclusively at military targets” can be perceived as a deliberate humiliation of the reputation of the intermediary country. After the “psychological deadline,” it is necessary to respond by introducing the most severe sanctions.

“Not gradual sanctions, but sanctions in the form of an embargo. Or, on the contrary, a significant increase in the corresponding instruments for Ukraine, primarily missiles. As soon as this starts working, Russia will be ready to listen and adhere to certain agreements,” Podolyak concluded.
