Migrants Become More Active Along Belarus-EU Border

This is indicated by the data of the border services of Poland, Lithuania and Latvia.
The situation on the Belarusian-European border is aggravating: the flow of illegal migrants is growing, which is confirmed by the official data of border services of three countries - Poland, Latvia and Lithuania.
On Monday, Polish border guards recorded 90 cases of attempts to cross the border illegally. All incidents were promptly resolved, with the exception of one missing person, whose search is ongoing. During the patrolling of the territory, aggressive actions on the part of illegal immigrants were also recorded - stones were again thrown at Polish border patrols. Nevertheless, statistics show a decrease in the number of attempts compared to the previous days.
It is noteworthy that the opposite trend is observed on the northern sections of the border. The Lithuanian side recorded a significant increase in incidents - 16 attempts, which is significantly higher than the usual level of violations. The situation is even more tense in the Latvian direction, where 52 attempts to cross the state border illegally were registered.
