April 23, Belarus introduced innovations for drivers with regard to insurance. One of them concerns the Europrotocol - the limit of payments was unbound from the euro, now it is set in basic units. But there is another innovation on these policies, which you may not know about, writes "Mirror".

We remind you that the limit of payments on the europrotokol was untied from the euro, now it is set in basic units - up to 150 (today it is Br6,300). Previously, this limit was 800 euros.

Another innovation has appeared on europrotokolami. The decree, signed by Alexander Lukashenko, introduced a new reason why such policies can't be issued - it's about the lack of contact of vehicles. The Belarusian Bureau of Transport Insurance draws attention to this fact.

"Now it's possible to use the notice of the accident only if there was a contact (collision) of vehicles. Naturally, no more than two vehicles should be involved in the accident. In all other cases, you will have to call traffic police officers," - said the Bureau.

The reasons for which it is impossible to draw up a Europrotocol, including - the damage due to the accident is estimated at more than 150 basic units; harm to life or health; the accident occurred with the participation of more than two vehicles. Other grounds include the absence of compulsory civil liability insurance contracts of vehicle owners.
