There was a fire in the office premises of the shopping center "Omega" in Vitebsk. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In the early morning of May 1, the fire alarm system "Molniya" went off in the shopping center "Omega" in Vitsebsk. The message was received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations at 3.47 a.m. When they arrived on the spot, they found dense smoke on the fourth floor of the building. The fire engulfed an office space of 6 m², but it was quickly extinguished.

The fire was extinguished by 56 rescuers and 14 units of equipment. It is reported that no one was injured. Now the causes of the fire are being checked.

Last December, a major fire in the shopping center "Belarus" in Vitsebsk led to casualties and a criminal case.
