The United States intends to find a long-term solution to the Russian-Ukrainian war. Vice President J.D. Vance said this on Fox News, discussing the results of the first 100 days of the new presidential administration.

The first step toward a settlement is for each side to put forward its own peace plans, it happened, Vance told us, "The Ukrainians said, 'This is what we want.' The Russians said, 'This is what we want,' and now the job of diplomacy is to try to bring these two sides together in some way."
