The answer is "reached" across the river.

On May 9, a rally-concert "Shores of Victory" was held in Russian Ivangorod, where, among others, the Belarusian group "Syabry" performed. The performance was clearly seen and heard in neighboring Estonia. This is evidenced by a recording of the concert, available on the propaganda You-Tube channel LenTV24.

Russian Ivangorod and Estonian Narva are located on different banks of the Narva River. The state border between the countries runs along the latter. The distance between the cities is just over 100 meters.

Since 2023, the Russians began to organize concerts for May 9, which were broadcasted to Estonia. This year in Ivangorod again installed a stage and two large screens facing Estonia. Due to the short distance, the concert can be seen and heard in Narva. At the same time, Russia promotes its values: the presenters wore St. George ribbons, which are a symbol of Russian military aggression in Ukraine.

At the rally-concert, the leader of Syabry Anatol Yarmolenko performed the song "Belovezhskaya Pushcha", as well as compositions from the war years. Besides "Syabry", Russian performers Tatiana Bulanova, Soso Pavliashvili, as well as the group "Fabrika" took the stage in Ivangorod.

By the way, Narva responded to the concert. On the morning of May 9, on the wall of Narva Castle for the third city in a row they hung a poster with the image of Vladimir Putin and Adolf Hitler and the inscription "Putler. War criminal." (Putler. War criminal".

The ensemble "Syabry", popular in Soviet times, has a long tradition of praising the Belarusian authorities. Back in 2006, Anatoly Yarmolenko performed a song called "Listen to Batya." Then he turned into a regular at pro-government concerts, supported Russian aggression in 2022 and now performs a song by Anna Seluk, daughter-in-law of Alexander Lukashenko.
