US President Donald Trump said that thanks to his rise to power and the current administration's tariff policies, a financial revolution has taken place and trillions of dollars have flowed into the US economy.

He wrote this on his Truth Social. "Trillions of dollars (and therefore a record number of jobs) have flowed into the U.S. in three months alone," Trump noted, "This is thanks to my tariff policies and our big win in the November 5 election."

The president said "very dumb Democrats are working hard to smear what is happening."

"They have completely lost their minds and lost all credibility. This is a financial revolution and they will fail," he added.

The president did not cite specific data to back up his words about "trillions of dollars" or record jobs.

Official data on foreign direct investment in the United States for the last quarter has yet to be released.

But according to preliminary data from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, real GDP in the first quarter of 2025 fell 0.3% year-over-year, indicating a slowdown in economic growth.

As for the labor market, 177,000 new jobs were created in April 2025, exceeding analysts' forecasts. However, overall, employment growth was moderate in the first quarter and the unemployment rate remained at around 4%.
