The meeting of shareholders of Belbiznespress CJSC, the founder and publisher of the Economic Newspaper, decided to stop its issue from July this year, according to the website of the publication.

The journalists recall how the publication was founded.

The huge public demand for such a source of information predetermined the emergence of "Economic Newspaper" (from 1992 to 2005 - "National Economic Newspaper").

Documents, comments to them, explanations of complex issues of economic activity, which have been printed on the pages of the newspaper for many years, ensured the popularity of the publication (single circulation reached forty thousand copies) and appreciation of the readership", - the publishers note.
