The Ukrainian armed forces have liquidated a well-known Russian sniper Vitaly Shapovalov with the call sign "Ded".

As "Apostrof" writes, this was reported by Russian public relations groups.

The war criminal was 51 years old, he was a scout-sniper of the Russian Army Special Forces.

According to an unofficial obituary, Shapovalov "raised more than one generation of snipers, some of whom became heroes of Russia."

"During his long service, he was on five business trips to Chechnya, each for six months. A total of 2 years spent in the Syrian Arab Republic, where, among other things, he gained his fame as an "anti-tank grandfather", about which he later made essays, and this episode was included in the book "Derivation". In Syria, he carried out tasks, including in Homs province, participated in the Akerbat operation," Russian publics say about him.
