Belarusian Banks Introduce Currency Innovations: Customers Will Have To Pay More

New commission sizes have become known.
Some banks have announced that they are introducing currency innovations. "Zerkalo" compiled a selection of such changes.
"Belgazprombank" will introduce a commission for transfers in euros to accounts opened in Belarusbank from June 1.
Since April 30, "Neo Bank Asia" changed the commission for non-cash transfer of foreign currency (except for Russian rubles and Kazakh tenge) to individuals' accounts. Now it amounts to 2.5% of the transfer amount.
"Paritetbank" adjusted its collection of commissions from April 30 - the changes affected the items related to transactions with securities at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange on behalf of the client.
"BNB-Bank" introduced a commission for cash withdrawal in its exchange offices and cash desks from "Belkart" cards, issued by other Belarusian banks, from April 24. The fee is 2.5% of the transaction amount.
BNB-Bank also began to replace damaged banknotes in dollars, euros and Russian rubles. Commission for the service - 9% of the amount at the rate of the National Bank at the time of the transaction, the minimum - Br10.
"Sber Bank" will make changes for currency exchange operations on cards to the account in Belarusian rubles outside Belarus from June 2. The innovation concerns situations when Russian rubles are used.
