Lukashenko May Be Eliminated At The May 9 Parade In Moscow?

"Friends of Putin" have been warned.

Kiev will not give security guarantees to representatives of foreign states who will come to Moscow for the parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. This was announced by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, noting that Russia itself could take "different steps" that would put the guests in danger.

"We cannot be responsible for what happens on the territory of the Russian Federation. They provide you with security and so we will not give you any guarantees. Because we don't know what Russia will do on these dates. It can make different, let's say, steps on its part: arson, bombings, and so on. And then blame us," he said while speaking to journalists (quoted by Interfax-Ukraine).

Zelensky instructed Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga to inform international partners that Kiev does not recommend them to come to Russia from a security point of view. "And if you do, don't ask us. This is your personal decision," the Ukrainian president said.

He said Kiev is not going to create a "soft atmosphere of coming out of isolation" for President Vladimir Putin and will not guarantee security for "Putin's friends or partners" who will come to the May 9 parade.

We would like to recall that Lukashenko recently thanked Putin for the invitation to the parade in Moscow and confirmed that he "cannot not come."
