A Doctor Has Revealed Vucic's Diagnosis

Serbia's president will not be able to work for a few days.

Serbian President Alexander Vucic, who was hospitalized after his sudden return from the United States, is in stable and satisfactory condition. However, he will not be able to work in his usual schedule for a few days.

This was announced by doctor and head of the Military Medicine Department Dragan Dincic, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Serbian media outlet RTS.

The doctor said Vucic urgently returned from the United States and was admitted to the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade because of symptoms similar to a sharp increase in blood pressure. Vucic has had such an occurrence three times in the past 10 years.

- The president is expected to leave the Military Medical Academy within an hour, but a full return to his usual routine is unlikely within the next few days," he said.

The doctor said that while in the US, Vucic felt a brief severe chest pain. After receiving intensive therapy, the pressure decreased, but despite the recommendations of American doctors to stay, Vucic decided to return to Serbia.

We recall that on the morning of May 3, it became known that Vucic suddenly canceled his visit to the United States and is returning to Serbia. It was reported that the reason for such a move was the sudden deterioration of the Serbian president's health.

Already in the afternoon, Serbian media reported that Vucic was hospitalized at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade. This came amid the Serbian president's plans to travel to Moscow for the May 9 parade.

European officials have threatened that the visit could hurt Serbia's aspirations to join the European Union. However, Vucic emphasized that he would still go to see Putin.
