Rubio: Poland Has Radically Strengthened Our Common Security

The US Secretary of State predicted a "bright future" for the two countries.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a statement on the occasion of Constitution Day on May 3. He emphasized the need for close cooperation between the countries for the sake of "freedom, prosperity, security and democracy," Polskie Radio reported.

The day before, a Trump administration official said Poland and the United States are partners in building a safer and more prosperous future for both countries.

Chicago Poles are proud to emphasize that the Polish Constitution of 1791 is the second - after the American Constitution - such piece of legislation in the world.

The parade was symbolically opened by Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson.

"Chicago is proud to be the largest home of the Polish community outside of the homeland. It is also home to the largest Polish parade in the world outside of Poland," Johnson emphasized.
