Ukraine cannot provide security for foreign politicians who visit Moscow.
Russia may commit provocations on May 9 to then blame Ukraine. This was announced by President Vladimir Zelensky at a joint press conference with the head of the Czech Republic Peter Pavel, writes liga.net.
The head of state said earlier that Ukraine cannot provide security for foreign politicians who decide to attend a propaganda parade in Moscow because "we do not know what Russia will do on these dates."
"Unfortunately, we understand who these neighbors are, Russia, and what they are ready to do for the sake of some radical political dividends inside their state first of all," Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian president recalled that these were not Russia's first promises of a ceasefire, and stressed that even during the so-called "Easter truce," Russia carried out attacks on the frontline despite assurances to the United States.
