Belarusians Rush To The EU For A Big Weekend

Belarusians traditionally leave the country for the big weekend.

At 12:00, 1370 cars were waiting to enter the Polish border crossing Terespol (Brest).

More than 70 cars are registered in front of the Lithuanian border crossing Miadininkai (Kamenny Log).

The busiest border crossing for trucks is the Latvian Paternieki (Grigorovshchina) - 350 units. Since Monday Latvia has let 57% of heavy trucks through this border crossing point.

Lithuanian border crossings Miadininkai (Kamenny Log) and Šalčininkai (Beniakoni) have 520 trucks. Since the beginning of the week the Lithuanian side has accepted only 27% of trucks on its territory.

The only Polish border crossing Kukuryki (Kozlovichi), which is accessible for trucks, has 20 trucks piled up in front of it. Polish control services received 59% of the norm from Belarus for 3 days.
